2006 Done and Gone

Monday, January 15th, 2007

Here at the beginning of Twenty ought and Seven, we here at Glossary Industries want to take a second and say thank you to all ya’ll who let us sleep on your floor, let us make love to your pets, came to our shows, and generally just helped us out during 2006.

We’re also very grateful and pleasantly surprised to see that we ended up on many of ya’lls top 10 lists for the year. Blogs like Radio Free Newport, Flashes & Cables, 1 2 3 Jamboree, and Picking Up the Signal are making it easy for people to learn about us and we appreciate it very much.

The Upstate Beat thought we were overlooked, but Billboard published Patterson Hood’s top 10 and he put us in good company.

The biggest thanks is going to the people of a certain very active and very opinionated discussion list who are not only true music fans, but true music supporters. We are very grateful for your support in 2006 and honored to be in your year end top 10.

Well that about does it, I’m all sappy-ed out.
