Before you order “Better Angels”…

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

… please be aware that we are temporarily out of the steel grey-colored covers. This should only concern you if your entire home is decorated in this color. If not, feel free to order brick red instead! (I call it “soft rust”.) Thanks, y’all. –Kelly

Glossary Kicks 2007’s Ass

Monday, December 24th, 2007

Hey All.
So, what a great year for Glossary. 2007 started in the studio recording our fifth album, “The Better Angels Of Our Nature” and is now ending with us playing New Years Eve in Memphis with Lucero. Pretty badass. We played almost one hundred shows from Tampa to Portland and everywhere in between.

The release of our record went way beyond our expectations. Making it free on our website did wonders for us. You guys broke our internets twice trying to download it. Thanks for everyone who got it. It’s still up on the download page, so tell your friends.

Definitely one of the year’s highlights was the “This Is American Music” tour. It was about as much fun as a group of friends could have short of going to a summer camp for career drinkers. There was man on man love every night. If you missed it, there’s a rumor that it will be performed at 2008’s SXSW. And if you don’t know The Drams, Two Cow Garage, or Grand Champeen, please go see them if they play anywhere near you.

If the fates allow, 2008 should be a good’n. We plan on playing as many shows as possible and promoting “Better Angels”. I’m sure Todd and Matt will be sitting in with some folks at a bar near you. Watch out for them and their other band Ghostfinger. They’re from Planet Space.
We here at Glossary hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday and is reunited with all those they love. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and all that stuff. Bye for now. – joey

Alright, here’s the deal: we can’t wait. We are doing 5 dates with the Drams, grand Champeen, and Two Cow Garage in a revue style show called THIS Is American Music. Everyone is going to be playing on each other’s songs with a revolving, non-stop epic rock revue that promises to be either a hot mess or one of the coolest things you’ve ever seen. Either way, this is a must attend event even if you’re a fan of only one of these bands. Come on out and see one of these limited shows in the following venues:

Tue 11/27 – Dan’s Silverleaf, Denton, TX Dan’s Silver Leaf
